In a previous email, I asked your opinion about the most important body part to train if you want to be a great athlete or martial artist.
The response was bigger than HUGE.
Some believe it’s the neck, others the core, some said the lower back and hips, a couple said the thighs.
The grand majority, however, wrote back to claim it’s “the mind” or, more specifically, “the brain.”
None of the answers listed above are wrong – because you cannot train the body without also working the brain… or the mind.
The brain, body and mind are inter-connected. You cannot move a muscle without a connection through your brain and nervous system.
At the same time, there are exercises that I believe tap the brain faster than others. They require more brain power or juice than other movements.
And these exercises don’t require more juice because they’re more strenuous.
They simply connect to the brain much faster than other exercises.
Take your hands, as an example, which, oddly enough, were not mentioned by a single person who replied.
Your hands are a direct hook up to the brain.
They’re still not number one in my book, as far as top priority in training – but they are super close.
I’ll be going into detail on this on the FureyFaithful.com members site very soon.
In the interim, here’s one last chance at the 2-for-1 autograph book special.
Get on it now, my friend.
