And so do you.
You already know where the first one is located – but what about the second?
Your second heart is located in your legs. In fact, if you picture both legs, from the feet up – you get the idea.
For the majority of people we see in society today, they pay almost no attention to this second heart.
They sit around most of the day. They don’t walk, run, jump, stretch or squat – all of which are vitally important for the second heart to do its job of supporting the first heart by pumping blood through the veins and arteries of the body.
This is precisely why there’s a Chinese saying,
“Ren lao, xian lao tui.”
The meaning, “When a person gets old, the legs get old first.”
Ain’t it the truth?
Well, the good news is that you can activate your second heart faster than ever before by doing two things:
1. Hindu squats – or any of the other variations of squats I teach – you can observe some gratis on Instagram – @mattfureysays
2. Jumping rope – this is another exercise that works the legs in such a way that the entire body is flooded with blood and
oxygen. Also, due to the coordination of hands and feet, due to the timing and rhythm required to execute specific patterns, the brain gets a tremendous workout, too.
Yes, you can go about your life believing you only have one heart. But think about how much your life and your health would rebound by imagining and acting as though you have two.
Here endeth the lesson.
