There’s a wise saying you’d better remember if you plan on rising above the herd: “Better to be envied than pitied.”
Here’s another one: “When you’re down on your luck, don’t complain because 80% of humanity doesn’t care and the other
20% are glad.”

Indeed, he was. He was even happy when the Steelers lost the Super Bowl two years ago. Imagine that.
Personally, I believe compassion is in order for most people. As a coach I look at the worst athlete on the team and
make a goal to improve him 100 percent. Then I look at who’s already good and figure out how to make him 10 percent
Why only 10 percent. Because ten percent is a huge improvement for someone who is already good. On the other foot, one
hundred percent better may not make the worst athlete good – but dadgummit, you’ve done your job.
These two programs change lives. They change the young and the not so young. They work wonders – even miracles.
And you can be a living example of how when you put the material I teach to good use.
